Comments on the 7th of July,
Firstly, those gone missing from Eastenders this week for reasons unknown are Dennis, Sharon, Pat and Ricky. Don't worry though, they'll all turn up sooner or later.
Gary is still an idiot, although a better husband to Laura than he ever was to Lynne. Lynne should so come back from her disappearance with a baby. That'd be pretty hilarious.
Little Mo is still mighty amusing, you know that she's going to start earning loads more than Billy and wind him up, leading to tension, that'll result in some horrible misunderstanding. Fortunately as it's Billy and Mo it'll be resolved really easily. Hooray!
As Kat's now proffessed feelings for Alfie, it'll take him about 3 weeks to get it together with her. That or it'll happen tomorrow. If it doesn't happen tomorrow it'll definately be three weeks.
Janine is so my favourite the most amusing character right now. She's so going to hire a hitman to kill of Natalie if things don't go her way. Which'll be amusing.
And finally, the lights that Martin and Asif are using to grow that weed, will not even help slightly. They need really powerful floodlights, not stupid UV ones like they have.

I never get tired of saying how stupid Gary Hobbs is. Really. He is dumb.
I am unsure however, who is funnier. Alfie, Derek's Eyebrow, or Janine.

Sonia seems to be getting simpler by the day. She acts all slowly and in hushed tones. I'm sure Jamie's death somehow destroyed most of her brain cells. I'd be severely worried about the NHS employing people like that, if Eastenders was real.
Kat was just being really annoying, flying off the handle at just about anything, including attacking Billy Mitchell, even though he's the best thing that has happened to her sister in like forever.
And you think that Laura would have realised a while ago that there was at least the possiblity that Gary wasn't the dad.
It's all stupid

Wellard
I don't get the point of Wellard. It's not like he ever does anything. If I was Wellard, I'd quite Eastenders, and find a job that fully displays my acting talent

Gary and Lynne
I really can't decide which one of these two I like more.
On the one hand Gary is a bit stupid, doesn't have any common sense and is a reasonably awful husband. He also seems to be a compulsive liar. Every action he does has to be accompanied by an lie of epic proportions. For example, he'll be going to the pub with someone, so he tells his wife "I'm just off to save the world from evil". The guy should really learn some decent sense.
However Lynne seems just as bad, with her constant stroppiness. As a matter of fact, I don't think I've ever seen her not in a strop except for those moments when she is drunk, or when Gary has done something terribly wrong. Then she is un-stroppy for long enough to either do something stupid, or get really offended at what Gary has done this time, after she got all un-stroppy just for him. That and she refuses to let her husband go near his child. But at least that's understandable. Unlike that stroppiness.
In the end, I think I prefer Lynne more, simply because she doesn't look quite so hideous when she cries. Either way, I wish they'd get back together so we'd such an annoying plot line about them.

The inability to maintain a relationship
I wrote a long an informed essay about why the scriptwriters of Eastenders can't allow two characters to hold down a relationship for more than a month unless they write them out of the script. However my browser crashed, so I'm going to leave it at this.
If the scriptwriters of Eastenders don't get Cat and Alfie back together really soon, I'm going to track them down and inflict various amounts of pain on them all.

I'm so so glad that Janine didn't go any further. Because that would have just been disgusting. Ewh.

Prediction for 10/07/03
Again, I'll be missing Eastenders this week. As my predictions weren't entirely acccurate last time, I'm going to make predictions of things that won't happen this time.
Thusly, Phil, Billy, Little Mo, that Kate person, and Peggy will all do something incredibly exciting.
Gary will do something romantic.
A new person will move into the square with the same name as someone else.
